For all our chocoholics who like their treats extra fudgy! Leftover Easter eggs were made for brownies, melt them, mix them, and bake them into a rich, gooey tray of goodness. Here’s how to turn your Easter haul into the ultimate indulgent dessert.

@rebslightbody Leftover Easter egg brownies 🐣 These fudgey brownies are unbelievable and are a great way to use up the odds and ends of chocolate lying about after Easter 🍫 Ingredients: 300g butter 300g dark chocolate 130g plain flour 75g cocoa powder 160g leftover Easter chocolate cut into pieces 5 eggs 360g caster sugar 1. Preheat the oven to 180C. Break up your leftover Easter eggs into smaller chunks 2. Add the chocolate and butter to a bowl and microwave for 2-3 mins, stopping to stir regularly, until melted 3. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until very thick (like a milkshake) then fold in the chocolate and butter mix 4. Sieve in the cocoa and flour and then transfer to a lined dish/tin 5. Top with any more leftover chocolate you have and bake for 28-33 mins until the top is cracked and it no longer wobbles in the middle. 6. From marshmallows to crushed eggs and everything in between, here’s how to turn your stash into a chewy, crunchy, chocolatey masterpiece.

@donalskehanMini Egg Rocky Road | An irresistible sweet treat and ideal way to use up any leftover chocolate or treats you have after Easter! 🐣 🍫 Makes: 16 squares Time: 30 mins + cooling time 300g butter 200ml golden syrup 300g dark chocolate, broken into pieces 200g digestive biscuits, roughly broken 250g rich tea biscuits, roughly broken 100g mini marshmallows 100g Maltesers, or similar 50g Mini Eggs, or similar, roughly broken For the glaze: 100g dark chocolate, broken into pieces 25g unsalted butter 50g icing sugar, sifted 75ml double cream 25g Mini Eggs, or similar, roughly broken Gold star sprinkles, to dust 1. Grease and line a 32cm by 24cm rectangular cake tin with baking parchment. 2. Melt the butter, syrup and chocolate in a pan over a low heat. Stir to make sure all the ingredients are well mixed together. Take off the heat and allow to cool a little before stirring through the biscuits, marshmallows, Mini Eggs & Maltesers and stir well to combine evenly. 3. Spoon into the prepared tin. Level it on top and press down well to avoid air bubbles. Cover and leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours until solid and set. 4. Once the cake has almost set, make the glaze. Melt the chocolate and butter in a small pot, when melted, remove from the heat, whisk in the icing sugar and the cream. 5. Allow to cool until the mixture becomes thick enough to leave a figure of eight on the surface. Pour over the cake and spread out to edges, before sprinkling with mini egg pieces, gold sprinkles and any other decorations you wish. For the ones who never say no to a classic! Mars Bar slice is a nostalgic favourite that’s gooey, chewy, and ridiculously moreish. Melt down those leftover Easter bars and mix them into this old-school delight for a crowd-please that never goes out of style.

@dezi_cooks Using up some of our left over Chocolate Easter eggs ☺️ into a Mars Bar slice. Simple and easy to make, this will be a hit with the kids for sure. Keeps in an air tight container in the fridge for a week. You will need 4 x mars bars 70g butter 3 cups Rice Bubbles @kelloggsaus 400g left over chocolate Easter eggs 1/2 tbs coconut oil – Cut the Mars bars into smaller pieces and add into a nonstick pot. Add butter and melt on low to medium heat until it’s well combined. – add the rice bubbles into a bowl – add the chocolate butter mixture to the Rice Bubbles and mix well to combine -add into a square cake tin lined with baking paper and flatter with the back of a spoon or spatula . The size I used was 21cm x 21cm. – refrigerate to set for at least 30 minutes – Break chocolate Easter eggs up into smaller pieces and add coconut oil. I zapped in the microwave (30 second intervals until it has melted) Alternatively, you can melt over boiling water on the stove. -Use a spatula to mix well and pour over Rice Bubble layer. – refrigerate for at least three hours or overnight. – use a sharp knife and even pressure to cut the Mars bar slice into pieces. #marsbarslice #leftover #easterrecipes #melbournemums #easydessertrecipe ♬ Pretty (Sped Up) – MEYY
