Last night saw the second series of Dancing With The Star Ireland hit our screens, as Jake Carter was crowned the king of the dance floor.
With the huge success of the first season, viewers were quick to flock back to the RTE show as it has been revealed that a whopping 734,000 people tuning in got the moment Jake and his partner Karen were announced as winners.
The show has also been very popular on RTE player, with over 330000 streams to date.
Jake, the 19-year-old brother of country music star Nathan Carter won the Glitter Ball trophy last night and revealed after just how elated he was.
“I cannot believe that we actually won this thing,” he told VIP Magazine.
“I’m actually lost for words. I’ve just about stopped crying. It’s crazy. It’s like a dream.”
