TV3’S Xpose presenter Cassie Stokes was a red carpet favourite this year at the PM VIP Style Awards, and her makeup was a real show stealer.
The stylish host joined VIP in the Peter Mark and Inglot beauty room before the red carpet to get glammed up, and we caught up with Inglot makeup artist Katie to get the top tips on how to achieve the look.
“So to start off I prepped Cassie’s skin with spf primer and 69 liquid illuminated to set the tone for the glowy fresh skin look Cassie was looking for!, Katie told VIP Magazine.
“I followed it in with a mixture of 66 ysm and 76 HD Inglot foundation! To set her skin I went in with nude & boogie down bronze ‘sunkissed’ HD powders from the new InglotXjlo collection! These powders blur out any skin imperfections (not that Cassie has any) and leaves a flawless finish to the skin! To pop some colour back into the skin I used ‘cinnamon’ face blush on the apple of her cheek and ‘silver dust’ trio highlight to create that dewy fresh look we were going for!
“Cassie already had some lovely eye makeup on so to touch it up we went in with ‘cafe au lait’ eyeshadow to give a soft even blend all around and gently mattify the eye! We popped a little bit of ‘Bordeaux’ eyeshadow on also to smoke it out a bit!
“And lastly for her lips we popped on some 854 lip liner and ‘pinky’ lip gloss from the jlo collection leaving a pinky nude glossy lip finishing off our fresh summer makeup look”
