It’s the beautiful bloggers birthday and we have been taking a look back over what she’s been up to over the last year, from the re-launch of her website, to the unveiling of her Pippa Pallette, and of course most importantly- winning The Most Stylish Woman of the Year at this year’s VIP Style Awards- the model has been very busy!
When we sat down with Pippa earlier this year she told VIP what it was like to be crowned Most Stylish Woman of the Year: “I never imagined I could win. I have to say it’s a nice little boost and it came at a good time.”
Her win came shortly after Pippa’s mum, Louise, passed away suddenly from a heart attack. She confided in us about how she was handling her grief: “It’s still so surreal, you know. And it’s still sinking in. I don’t get teary on times I think I should, it happens out of the blue…My work has definitely been a great distraction for me these last few months. If it were a job I hated, i’d probably be in a different state of mind. It’s pushed me to do more, and more.”
Pippa has certainly been branching out more with her career in the last year, starting with re-launching her website Pippa.ie, in May of this year. The success of it has been huge!
When we asked the blogger about how it began, she told us that it was just a hobby and she never imagined it could have grown like it has! “It started as a hobby, talking about maternity wear, and then it kind of grew…the figures were so good I started to look into how I could make it profitable,” she said.
Then came the unveiling of the gorgeous Pippa Palette and the models partnership with Blank Canvas. The product was launched in June and has risen to success ever since. We asked her about its impending release when we last spoke in May and Pippa was very excited about the secret product, now we understand why- we are in love with the Pippa Palette!
“I’m collaborating with Blank Canvas Cosmetics, a well known Irish makeup brush company, and we’re launching our first product in June. It’s very me and something I felt was missing from the market. I’m excited about it,” she said.
As well as all this, Pippa has been running Pippa’s Fashion Factory- a day out filled with fashion, fun, and food. She is also wife to her loving husband Brian and mum to gorgeous son Ollie. It’s safe to say that Pippa has had a fantastic, successful year and a lot to celebrate on this birthday. We at VIP want to wish her a very Happy Birthday!
