Greg O’Shea reckons more Irish people could be heading into Love Island

Greg O'Shea

Greg O’Shea has hinted at the possibility of more Irish people heading into the Love Island villa this season.

There’s already one Dublin native on the show, 26-year-old Dami Hope. But chatting on Holly Carpenter’s ‘Filter Free’ podcast, Greg seems pretty certain that Dami won’t be on his own in there for too long before another Irish person joins him. Greg said:

“There is a couple of Irish people” joining the cast of the 2022 series”

“I’m excited to see more Irish people in it this summer because it really mixes it up”

Continuing on, Greg explained how Irish people are a great addition to the show, saying:

“I also think Irish people are very well mannered and friendly and I think that’s why we have done well on the show, myself and Maura (Higgins) and others”

As for when we can see the new Irish additions to the villa is still unknown. The show kicked off earlier this week on Monday with show host Laura Whitmore at the helm.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
