Graham Norton’s famous ‘Big Red Chair’ is getting its own show on BBC One in the New Year. The chair currently features on The Graham Norton Show every Friday night, but now it’s time for it to take centre stage.
The chair sees members of the audience sitting on it and telling their most embarrassing stories. If it pleases Graham and the panel of celebrity guests, the storyteller will be allowed walk, but nine times out of ten they are flipped from the chair- which makes for hilarious viewing!
There have been over 500 stories told over the course of the show, which has spanned 20 series’, and Graham will now be on hand to relive some of the best ones. The new show will be hosted by the comedian and will go behind-the scenes to meet some of those who have dawned the famous chair.
The Cork native will also fill audiences in on the sweet story of how the chair became a permanent fixture at the show.
