Glenda Gilson is taking a trip down memory lane as she marks her 6th wedding anniversary with husband Rob MacNaughton.
In August 2014, the pair said ‘I do’ in Kilrush Co Clare, before partying into the night at the Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg.
Glenda wore an incredible Vera Wang gown paired with Jimmy Choo heels, while Rob opted for a fitted navy suit.
Following the nuptials, the pair flew out to Vegas for their honeymoon – and Glenda remembers the time fondly.
Sharing a throwback snap from their romantic getaway, the Virgin Media star said, “Happy anniversary Robbo. Married over a week in this week. Six years ago on honeymoon in Vegas.”
The happy couple marked their anniversary with a mini break in Kerry with their son Bobby.
“We had a ball in Dingle last weekend. The weather was amazing and we got to see Fungie,” she said.
Glenda, who is expecting her second child later this year, admits she found the morning sickness incredibly hard to deal with during her first pregnancy, and this time is no different.
“Sometimes it only lasts for 12 weeks, for other people it lasts for 16 weeks,” she said.
“Unfortunately with my last pregnancy it lasted the whole way, I was even getting sick in labour.”
Glenda added, “I know that a lot of you are probably saying, ‘Stop moaning, I’m pregnant not sick’. But it is a tough time. It is worth it in the end as we all know but yeah it is kind of hard.
“But yeah thank you so much for all the lovely messages from all of you and to all of you expecting I wish you the best of luck because it’s a tough old time but keep on trucking.”
