Glenda Gilson has opened up about her experience on Dancing with the Stars, after becoming the second celebrity to be eliminated.
The Ireland AM presenter and partner Robert Rowinski received 18 points from the judges for their contemporary ballroom performance to Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On, but it wasn’t enough to guarantee their future on the show.
The pair were up against Grainne Gallanagh and Kai Widdrington in the vote-off, and sadly lost their place in the competition.
Following the elimination, Glenda revealed she enjoyed every minute of her time on the show, and made friends for life.
“I gave it my all and enjoyed every bit of it,” she said. “I met some of the best people working on DWTS. I’ll never forget it… It was such an experience. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.”
She’ll certainly be missed!
