Glenda Gilson and her husband Rob MacNaughton have announced the arrival of baby number two.
The happy couple, who are already parents to little Bobby, welcomed their second son to the world this morning.
Danny Mac arrived safe and sound at 4.21am weighing 7lbs.
Sharing a first glimpse of the tiny tot, Glenda held him close and said, “Welcome to the world little man. Danny Mac arrived early this morning, safe and well and made sure he didn’t steal his big brother’s birthday.”
Paying tribute to his wife, proud dad Rob said, “Both mummy and baby are doing great. Glenda, you make my world. Next step, Danny meeting his older brother.”
Family, friends and famous faces were quick to share their well-wishes with the happy family.
Anna Daly said, “What a beautiful boy he is G! Huge congrats to you, Rob and big bro Bobby! Well done Mama.”
Lottie Ryan wrote, “Congratulations Glenda! He’s perfect.” While Suzanne Jackson added, “Congratulations G to you and Rob! He is beautiful.”
Speaking about parenthood, Glenda previously revealed she’s always wanted to be a mum – and couldn’t be happier that her wish has come true.
“I have always loved kids and I was dying for this. I have a new appreciation now for mums and all that they do,” she told VIP Magazine.
“And Rob is just fantastic. He has really taken on the whole fatherhood thing.”
