A Galway teen has had her dreams come true this week, by meeting Ellen Degeneres and performing on her show.
Seventeen year-old Eimear O’Tuathail appealed to The Ellen Show earlier this month, with a song that she wrote for the host.
The young girl is a massive fan of Ellen Degeneres and describes her as ‘her idol’.
Ellen occasionally invites viral video stars and musicians to appear on her show and decided to answer Eimear’s prayers by having her on the show.
The teen took to the stage on the show and chatted to Ellen about how much of a fan she is and all the things she’d like to get while she’s in America.
Eimear mentioned colourful Starbucks drinks and EOS lip balm among the things she’d love to get on her travels.
She then performed the song she wrote for the presenter, which is titled ‘hey Ellen’.
After the young girl performed her song, Ellen surprised her with everything she wished for just minutes before, including a big basket of EOS lipgloss.
Ellen also gave Eimear a cheque for 10,000 dollars to put towards her college fund.
It’s safe to say this girl’s life has been made!
