Last night saw comedian Fred Cooke eliminated from Dancing With The Stars, narrowly missing out on a spot in next week’s grand final.
The funnyman and his partner Guilia lost out to Johnny Ward and Emily Barker in a dramatic dance off that saw all three judges vote in favour of former Fair City star, Johnny.
After the show, Fred spoke about how far he had come in the competition.
“I thought I was going to be the first out,” the Meath man told RTE.
He also paid tribute to his ‘monumental’ dance partner Guilia, and siad every week he got through felt like he was being ‘hugged by Ireland,”
Next week sees the final three couples, Cliona and Robert, Mairead and John and Johnny and Emily bide to win the top prize – and it’s sure to be an enthralling competition!
We’ll certainly miss Fred on our screens.
