Galway Christmas Market

Potentially Ireland’s most infamous Christmas market takes place in Eyre Square each year.
From Friday 8th of November until Sunday 5th of January the city’s main square will be lined with 50 wooden stalls, a Ferris wheel, The German Bier Kellar and let us not forget the infamous beer tent.
If the city isn’t magical enough in general, wait until you see it lit up with thousands of Christmas lights.
Waterford Winterval

The Viking city never fails to step up its game each Christmas with its impressive Winterval festival.
This year from the 15th of November to the 23rd of December Winterval will be in full swing.
The Glenveagh Christmas Markets allow you to support local and national businesses who set up at the event. The heart of Waterford city is lined with stalls of local craft and food.
The city will also host other great activities and events for Winterval such as Ice Skating, The Mini Express Train and a fabulous Ferris wheel looking over the city’s quay.
Christmas at the Castle, Dublin

From the 28th of November until the 18 of December, Dublin’s Bavarian-style market will be in full swing.
The historic castle courtyard becomes a winter wonderland over these few weeks with over 30 Christmas market stalls selling Christmas nick-nacks and sweet treats. Baileys hot chocolate anyone?
In past years, hundreds of Christmas trees were lined up at the entrance to greet guests and live music performances have wowed visitors.

Belfast Christmas Markets

From the 16th of November until the 22nd of December, the city of Belfast is the place to be.
The award-winning markets are back this year with a Victorian twist.
Each stall will be nothing short of spectacular with various local crafts and international delicacies being served at every corner.
After you are sufficiently stuffed with delicious food, there is also a range of activities such as Santa’s Grotto and the vintage helter-skelter.
