No stranger to a TV set, former Eastenders star Cheryl Fergison has set her sights on a role in Fair City.
After working on the UK soap from 2007 until 2012, Cheryl decided it was time for change.
While she’s currently appearing in the stage production of Menopause: The Musical alongside Katherine Lynch, Maureen Nolan and Rebecca Wheatley, Cheryl took a short trip to Ireland – and made sure to visit the RTE set.
Taking to social media, she shared a video of herself on set.
“Okay everyone, this is really exciting. I am here in Dublin. I am promoting Menopause: The Musical, but today I am on the set of Fair City,” she began.
“Look, there is everything. There is the Spar and everything. I think that you guys should give me a little job in Fair City and I should be on it.
“Somebody who passes through for about six months and maybe gets killed off again? I don’t mind as long as I do it. That would be fantastic.
“Come on Fair City, get me on. I’m kind of there. My foot is almost in the door.”
