Five new homes have been confirmed for the second series of TV3’s smash hit reality show, Gogglebox Ireland.
Series two of the programme is set to hit our tv screens this Wednesday, and viewers are told to be prepared for another season of hilarious commentary from families and friends from all over Ireland.
Five new homes will be joining in on the Gogglebox fun, and will be revealed over the next few weeks, with one new home appearing on Wednesday’s episode. Who knows- maybe they’ll give the lovable Cavan twins a run for their money!
Hailing from Cork, Clare, Portlaoise, Mayo and Wicklow, the new households were selected after an exhaustive search that kicked off with over three thousand applications.
Simon Proctor, series producer of Gogglebox Ireland is delighted with the new additions to the show, and he hopes they provide a new dimension to the series.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our five new households to join our expanded Gogglebox Ireland family! Representing a great geographical and social mix, our new Goggleboxers will bring us even more unique insights into the week’s telly along with many of our original cast – they let us into their homes, switch on their kettles and pick up their remote controls,” he said.
Series 2 of Gogglebox Ireland begins this Wednesday on TV3, at 9pm. We can’t wait!
