The Belfast Christmas Market is the largest in the country and is not one to be missed.
For locals and visitors alike, attending this market is a must when celebrating the holiday season in the city. From the 15th of November to the 22nd of December, the Christmas market once again takes place with its 90+ festive stalls – showcasing an array of cuisines and crafts and its spectacular winter events for of all ages.
Not to mention, it’s the perfect spot for some seasonal gift shopping!

From the 7th of November to New Years Eve, The Galway Christmas Market returns for its 15th year!
Over its seven-week run, you can treat yourself to a mulled wine at the festive stalls or a beer at the Bier Keller Tent while browsing the 50+ chalets or taking a walk through the enchanted lights gardens.
With up to half a million visitors expected this holiday season, there’s something for everyone at the Galway Christmas Markets – a highlight being the 32-meter-high Ferris wheel!
Yulefest Christmas Market, Kilkenny

The Yulefest Christmas Market in Kilkenny sets itself aside from other festive events by its renowned open-air movie nights, live music events, DJ sets and more.
This market is a hidden gem among the Irish winter markets and is definitely worth the visit if you are looking for a spirited yet intimate Christmas vibe.
This market takes place from the 29th of November to the 23rd of December – and for a limited time features the immersive sounds and light experience Starlight by Luxmuralis at St. Canice’s Cathedral from December 14th.
Winterval, Waterford

From the Viking elf trails to the Winterval Cruises, there really is something for everyone! Waterford has been titled the ‘European city of Christmas, so it’s safe to say that these festivities won’t disappoint.
Open from now until the 23rd of December – Winterval will grace the city of Waterford in what will once again be remembered as one of Ireland’s best seasonal celebrations.
