Yes, Pamela Uba is set to star as the fairy ‘Angel’ in the National Stadium Pantomine this year and let us tell you this, she looks incredible!
The former Miss Ireland will be joining Alan Hughes and Karl Broderick for Snow White and Sammy & Buffy which is set to take place in the National Stadium this Christmas from December 13.
Pamela’s character has been given a mission, by a mystery source, to keep an eye on Snow White – intervening while she can.
But of course, as it’s a pantomime, the fairy Angel will need the help of all the boys and girls, mammies and daddies to save Snow White from the clutches of her wicked stepmother, played by Katherine Lynch.
Speaking about her exciting new role, Pamela said: “I’m super excited to be playing the Fairy “Angel” in this year’s Panto.”
“I’m studying acting and have always sang, so I will be getting to showcase both my love of acting and singing with an added touch of fairy dust this Christmas.”
“I have always aspired to be a singer, actress so it’s incredible that I get to do the two with such a great cast and team,’ she added. ‘It’s a show you won’t want to miss,” she added.
The panto itself is once again being written by Karl Broderick, while the pairing of gullible Sammy Sausages and daddy loving Buffy (Alan Hughes and Rob Murphy) lead the cast with Marty Morrissey playing the Magic Mirror.
Pamela made history after she became the first black woman to win Miss Ireland back in 2021.
While in 2019, she won Best Dressed Lady at the 2019 Galway Races, which resulted in her developing her love for fashion.
We can’t wait to see the rest of the costumes!
