Derry Girls season two is proving to be even more popular than the first, thanks to the wit, comedy and lovable characters.
With many fans calling it a modern day Father Ted, it’s only fitting that a star from the holy show would make an appearance.
Ardal O’Hanlon, who played Fr. Dougal Maguire on the hit show, is set to appear in Derry Girls on Tuesday’s episode.
In Derry Girls, he’ll play “the awkward, middle-aged mummy’s boy of the Quinn/McCool extended family”, according to Channel 4.
Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee took to Twitter to celebrate the guest appearance.
“Its your Man! Meet Eamon. #DerryGirls. Tonight. C4. 9.15pm. Ardal o’Hanlon, Tommy Tiernan and Kevin McAleer in the one episode. 16 year old comedy nerd me would never have believed it,” she said.
