Applications are open for the third season of First Dates Ireland and show creators are looking for singletons.
The show is specifically seeking men to apply for the show after receiving a large amount of applications from women.
The singletons who visit the restaurant range in age from 20 to 70 plus. The unobtrusive cameras allow the daters to forget they are being filmed and start bonding… or not!
Interested parties can fill out a form, which asks about things like your hobbies and interests, your relationship history and the type of partner you’d be interested in.

If you know someone looking for love, but they are too shy to be the focus on camera, the show is also looking for background daters.
Background daters are matched like main daters and go on a genuine first dates in the First Dates restaurant, but are not featured in the final programme. They may be seen on camera, in the background of the restaurant but conversations are not recorded.
So if you’re a single fella or have a male friend who you’d like to find love, you can sign up here.
The lack of men applying for dating shows seems to be prominent across Ireland as it was recently announced that Blind Date on TV3 were looking for more male applicants too.
The show, which is set to be hosted by Al Porter was inundated with applications from women.
Single men, what are you waiting for?
