Recently, the news broke that the stars of the highly anticipated sequel to the 2007 Disney movie Enchanted, Disenchanted, had landed in Ireland to get ready for filming.
The star-studded cast, including Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, has now officially begun production in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow.
Disney Studios have teased their Twitter audience on what to expect from the upcoming movie, which is scheduled for release in 2022.
“Good morning! Amy Adams and @adammshankman here taking over @DisneyStudios for a bit. Wanted to get a few friends together to tell the story of what ‘ever after’ looks like…”
Followed by Patrick Dempsey tweeting “Here I come! I’ll pick up James and @idinamenzel too. Anyone else?”
While Maya Rudolph, who is set to play a new mysterious villain in the upcoming sequel, said: “What’s a good fairy tale without a great villain? I’ll see you in Andalasia my pretties….”
This comes after Irish business owner Olivia Burns shared that she hosted Patrick Dempsey in Northern Ireland for the past two weeks.
Sharing a snap of herself with her A-list guest she said; “The secret is out! We have been hosting the fabulous Patrick Dempsey for the last 2 weeks as he prepares to star in his exciting new Disney film, Disenchanted.
“It has been very surreal going to work and seeing McDreamy everyday. We have enjoyed lots of daily chats with Patrick about the beautiful Northern Irish countryside and of course Olivia’s Haven (his favourite scent is our smoky Irish Fireside)”
