Derry Girls season two is finally on the way after much anticipation from loyal fans.
The hit show has not become an international hit after being added to Netflix in various countries around the world.
This week, we finally got a trailer for the second series of the show and fans everywhere are incredibly excited.
With the new series comes new cast members too and it has been announced that a former Father Ted star is set to be in the new episodes.
Ardal O’Hanlon, best known for playing the lovable eejit Dougal in the Channel Four show will be guest starring in Derry Girls.
He’ll be reunited with his former Father Ted costar Tommy Tiernan who plays dad Gerry in the show.
He’ll play Eamonn, “the awkward, middle-aged mummy’s boy of the Quinn/McCool extended family”, according to Channel 4.
The second series is set for release next month!
