Mary Kennedy celebrated with friends, family and some very famous colleagues at her retirement party from RTE.
The former Nationwide presenter had worked with the national broadcaster for over 40 years, before stepping down earlier this year.
The much-loved star was surrounded by a whole host of famous faces as she celebrated her illustrious career, with Marty Whelan, Anne Doyle, Noel Cunnigham and Neven Maguire all spotted at the bash.
Taking to social media, Marty Whelan shared a sweet snap with his former Open House co-host, and paid a touching tribute to the 65-year-old.
“My friend, the fabulous Mary Kennedy last evening at her retirement do. She’ll be dancing with the stars soon.” he said.
Mary was recently announced as the final celeb taking to the dance floor on this season’s Dancing With The Stars Ireland – and says she is excited for the new challenge!
“I’m really looking forward to it, I’m quite petrified but I’m looking forward to learning new dances and doing something different,” she said of the exciting news.
“I’ve always been a fan and I’ve come out to watch the live show every year it’s been on so now it’s time to pony up and put my money where my mouth is…”
