Famous faces have rallied to support Glenda Gilson following her untimely exit from Dancing with the Stars.
The tv star and dance partner Robert Rowinski found themselves in the bottom two, following their contemporary ballroom performance to Celine Dion’s hit track, My Heart Will Go On.
The pair received the fewest public votes, and their time on the show came to an end after three weeks.
Friends and former stars of the show, took to social media to share their shock at her elimination.
Maia Dunphy, who was partnered with Robert in 2018, said “Well done Glenda and Robert.
“Needless to say you were robbed, but that’s the nature of this crazy show. And for everyone up in arms, if you’re not voting, then don’t be surprised.”
Ireland’s Got Talent star Paul Ryder shared a similar sentiment, saying, “Super crap to see Glenda leave Dancing with the Stars. If you like someone you’ve got to vote and not rely on others.”
Johnny Ward, who performed on the show with Emily Barker last year, said, “Ah seriously, what an absolute joke. Glenda did not deserve to go.”
Opening up about her experience on the show, Glenda graciously revealed she enjoyed every minute and made friends for life.
“I gave it my all and enjoyed every bit of it,” she said. “I met some of the best people working on DWTS. I’ll never forget it… It was such an experience. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.”
