Stars of stage and screen came together this week to honour the late Gay Byrne.
The 85-year-old passed away peacefully on Monday morning surrounded by his loved ones, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
In a moving tribute, RTE arranged a special episode of the Late Late Show, to say goodbye to the former host.
An array of Gay’s friends and colleagues came together to share memories of their time with the broadcaster, and give him the send-off he deserved.
Ryan Tubridy was joined by the likes of President Michael D. Higgins, Claire Byrne, Majella O’Donnell, Marty Whelan, Bob Geldof to name a few.
