Fair City’s favourite couple Paul and Niamh have officially called it quits.
After months of keeping our screens alight with their up and down relationship, Niamh dropped the bombshell to her husband last night that they are over for good.
Niamh, played by Clelia Murphy, revealed that she had known all along that Paul was going to betray her when Dermot Fahy was put in prison.
“I wanted to bankrupt you and take your child.” She said.
“How did we sink so low?”
Paul tried to save the situation by suggesting they “put the whole thing behind us”
“We live under the same roof because we have a child to rear.” Niamh insisted
“There’s no us. We’re just two strangers locked in hell.”
We’re devastated to see the much-loved couple end their relationship!
