Fair City reaches a huge milestone this week, as it’s 4000th episode will air tomorrow night on RTE One.
Viewers will be left shocked when Paul Brennan’s infidelity is finally uncovered by his wife Niamh, and the drama hits fever pitch.
In recent weeks we’ve seen him make the moves on Farrah, and passionately kiss Hayley in the office the following week.
Actress Clelia Murphy, who plays Niamh in the soap, spoke to RSVP magazine and said that the revelation of Paul’s affair is very public.
“Niamh has the information that Paul is having a liaison with Hayley and it all comes to a head. The fall out is very public, it takes place in the community centre,” she said.
Along with this epic storyline there will be the exit of a character from Carrigstown, the return of another and details about Katy’s disappearance will be discovered.
