A huge congratulations are in order for Fair City actress Rebecca Grimes and her husband Paul, as the pair have just welcomed the birth of their first child.
The actress who plays Hayley Collins in the RTÉ soap has had a busy year since marrying her long-term partner Paul Donegan last New Year’s Eve.
And now they both couldn’t be happier with the arrival of their beautiful baby girl.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Rebecca posted an adorable photo of the newborn, captioning it: “Early Christmas Present.”

Calling their child, Dara Donegan, Rebecca added that she gave birth just last week.
“We are so completely in love,” she continued.
“And now all the heartburn makes sense,” she joked before signing off.
Friends of Rebecca and Paul flocked to the comment section to share their congratulations with presenter James Patrice writing: “Aaahhh! CONGRATS… Absolutely beautiful.”
“Beautiful,” added Rebecca’s co-star Maclean Burke.
While pal Naula Carey penned: “Ah this is wonderful news. Many congratulations Rebecca. I’m thrilled for you. Now get Dara on Santa’s list asap.”
