Fair City, actress Sorcha Furlong is making the move from on-screen to behind the mic after landing a brand new radio presenting gig.
Yes, Sorcha will be joining the Freedom FM team as she is set to host AfterDrive, an early evening music program airing every Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm during the station’s upcoming FM broadcasts.
Current presenters at the station, include the likes of Glenda Gilson and Aidan Power.
So safe to say, Sorcha should slot in just nicely among her peers!

Although a digital station by nature, each year Freedom FM secures a temporary license from Coimisiún na Méan to broadcast on eight FM frequencies across Ireland, reaching music lovers who long for the tunes that defined their youth.
Speaking about Sorcha joining the FM team, Sean Power, Freedom FM’s station manager said: “We are delighted to welcome Sorcha to Freedom FM for our FM broadcasts this October.
