Keith Barry always has something up his sleeve when it comes to work, but it seems the Irish hypnotist is set to become busier than ever over the coming months.
The Waterford native recently wrapped on the set of Hollywood blockbuster, Now You See Me 2, where he was enlisted as chief magic consultant, teaching the cast everything they need to know about card spinning, hypnosis and disappearing acts.
There’s no rest for Keith though, as the Irish man is flying back out to America right away work on the US version of You’re Back in the Room, before meeting station bosses for his very own show Stateside, and returning to the Emerald Isle to shoot a brand new series for TV3.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, Keith said, “I’m out to film You’re Back in the Room USA. I’ve got eight episodes of that to shoot with Fox in the States. The host will be an American actor called Taye Diggs.
“I’m also meeting networks. I’ll probably shoot my own show out there early next year and when I come back, I’ll be shooting Keith Barry Hypno-Magician for TV3.
“We’re going into pre-production next month which means writing the show, and then we’ll film it early next year. It’ll probably be summer next year by the time it hits the airwaves. I’ve a busy year ahead!”
Well we’re already excited to catch a glimpse of these!
