Last night’s episode of Living With Lucy saw presenter Gráinne Seoige play host to Lucy Kennedy for the week.
Welcoming Lucy and her team into her South African home, Gráinne opened up about her life, love, and career.
The 45-year-old also opened up about her reputation as an ‘ice queen’, admitting it’s caused her plenty of upset over the years.
Hurt by the label, Gráinne feels it’s an unfair title. “Ice queen is a way of saying ‘bitch’,” she told Lucy.
Viewers jumped to her defence, agreeing that it’s unjust.
@KennedyLucy great show tonight, and @grainne_seoige is lovely, deffo no ice queen. #LivingWithLucy

That #livingwithlucy was brilliant. Maybe the most insightful since the Twink episode during the original RTE run. Well done @KennedyLucy @grainne_seoige

Shortly after the episode aired, Gráinne took to social media herself to express her happiness with how the episode went down.
“Really bowled over by the wonderful reaction to #LivingWithLucy tonight with the fab Lucy,” she said.
Last night’s episode was the first of the series. Still to come, Lucy is set to shack up with the likes of Barry Keoghan and Nadine Coyle.
We’re in for an exciting season!
