Last night saw 2019’s Islanders come together one last time for the Love Island reunion, and it wasn’t short of talking points.
Host Caroline Flack, and voice over comedian Iain Stirling grilled the cast on what they had been getting up to since leaving the villa, and what relationships were still going strong.
But it was one moment in particular that had viewers cringing at their screens.
Fourth place couple Maura and Curtis were in studio to discuss their blossoming relationship, but producers decided to sit them next to Amy Hart, Curtis’ famous ex- half girlfriend from the earlier days in the villa.
Although Amy handled the pair’s touchy/feely-ness like a pro, fans were left questioning why the awkward moment was allowed to happen?!
Was it really necessary to sit Amy with Maura and Curtis? Amy truly loved him and now she’s having to sit next to his new girlfriend purely for the show’s “entertainment”#insensitive #LoveIsland. pic.twitter.com/DvF1WPBsNe
