Yes, Derry Girls and Bad Sisters were both big winners on the night and we couldn’t be prouder!
Four of the famous Bad Sisters turned up to represent their hit show, with actress Eve Hewson sadly missing out.
However, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t there in spirit!

Taking to Instagram to express her pride for her fellow co-stars Eve wrote: “Nothing worthwhile comes easy, Girleen!”
“I could not be happier for this result!!! So much work and love and dedication. And then it paid off!!!!”
“WHAT A FEELING!!!!!!!” she added.
Posting an image of Sharon Horgan, Sarah Greene, Ann-Marie Duff and Eva Birthistle, Eve shared: “I am so sad I’m not in this photo but it is quite impossible to get a picture of all 5 of us looking in the same direction, giving our best angles.. (I see now why the spice girls had issues).. and all the girls are particularly gorgeous here.”
“However, I do really wish I was there to celebrate with my sisters.
“BUT in my mind, somewhere in our Garvey girl universe, the celebrations continued to Eva’s house.. and Becka spent the night dancing on the kitchen table. Probably with her knickers on her head.”
“Because we won a BAFTA. For being absolute legends.”
Anne-Marie Duff, who played Grace won the supporting actress award on the night, while Sharon Horgan took to the stage to accept the award for best drama series for Bad Sisters.
