Erin McGregor revealed what the future holds as her time on Dancing with the Stars has come to an end.
The Dubliner, who made it to the semi-final of the competition, hopes to continue performing on stage or screen over the next few months.
“I’ve been so lucky with this opportunity and it’s something I’ve always loved, so I’m hoping the universe will send something my way, and I’ll be like – well, that’s what I want to do.
“Definitely something in performance. I’d love to keep up the dancing,” Erin told VIP Magazine.
“I’d love to do Panto or TV – that’s the direction I’m going in. I suppose I have the telly bug. The adrenaline rush that you get with live tv is unbelievable. It was so amazing. It’s a part of my life and I was like, wow, this is really good.”
Erin was delighted to have spent the last twelve weeks working on DWTS, learning new skills and making friends for life.
While she wasn’t performing in the final herself, the fitness model was on the sidelines, rooting for her pals; Jake, Deirdre and Anna.
“I’m used to be being on the sidelines for my daughter’s dancing, so I believe in team spirit. I got behind the others. We’re all great friends and it was really fun,” she said.
“I saw all their dances in the dress rehearsals and I cried watching them because they were so powerful. They were all amazing.”
Jake Carter and his dance partner Karen Byrne went home with the trophy on the night.
