Erika Fox, also known as Irish influencer Retro Flame is celebrating nearly eight years living in New York City.
Taking to Instagram, the fashion and lifestyle blogger admitted that she has spent nearly every summer of her twenties in New York, with two summers on a J1 visa before moving to the Big Apple on a full-time basis after finishing college.
Sharing a throwback to her first summer in New York as a college student with her longterm boyfriend Tommy O’Callaghan, Erika and Tommy recreated a photo from 2012 while playing “tourist for the day” in New York.
Laughing at how they look like “babies” in the first picture, Erika admitted that the pair have “come a long way” after recently just moving into their dream home in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Moving from the Financial District to an apartment that has vast views of the New York skyline, Erika noted that she’s only a short walk away from Central Park and that she couldn’t be happier in the new place.
Now in her new apartment since May of this year, Erika previously admitted that she has manifested living in this apartment since the day she touched down in NYC, revealing that her and Tommy agreed that it was a “now or never” style situation when it came to moving into their new sky-high pad.

Well, they’re certainly making their dreams come true.
Sharing the process of doing up the apartment on her Instagram and via her YouTube channel, Erika has been giving followers sneak peeks at the interior design from her office space to the newly added curtains for her floor-to-ceiling windows.
We cannot wait to see the finished result.
