Eric Roberts has had plenty of reason to celebrate lately, and not just because he was nominated for a Hayu InstaStar Award.
The comedian tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Niamh Emmett in their native Donegal, in August.
Opening up about married life, he joked it was “amazing! It’s wonderful, I haven’t seen her since we got married, so really enjoying it.”
“It’s been busy, busy, busy but we’re absolutely delighted the wedding was an absolute dream. Probably a bit bias, but it probably was the greatest wedding of all time.”

Eric’s career in the entertainment industry took off during the pandemic, when he became a social media sensation on TikTok and Instagram. And his meteoric rise to fame has continued, so much so, that in March of this year, he quit his full-time job to pursue his comedy career.
But even with all his success, the Donegal man is still adjusting, as he explained: “It’s felt like it’s been a couple of weeks, I still feel so new to it all, but I’m getting so many amazing opportunities, they just keep coming, and I just keep on saying yes. So I’m gonna keep saying yes for as long as I can and see where it takes me.”
And his approach is working, as Eric teased some of his upcoming projects.
“I have some pretty exciting stuff coming up in the next weeks and months. I’m actually starting on Ireland AM, next week they’ve offered me a job, so I’ll be doing that. Later in the year I have a momentous project coming out, with someone that I can’t mention. But you will be seeing it very soon,” he shared.
