UK actress Emily Blunt is the star of new Hollywood thriller Girl On The Train, where she plays an alcoholic called Rachel. Although Emily plays the part extremely well, she’s admitted that working with a certain Irish actor has made being serious on set extremely difficult.
London native Emily said that since working with Irish actor Chris O’Dowd in 2010, she’s been ruined because she now breaks into fits of laughter on set at the worst times! The pair worked together on comedy flick Gulliver’s Travellers in 2010.

Speaking to the Irish Sun the 33-year-old said, “He’s ruined me. I never used to giggle (on set) that much until I worked with Chris and since then, I’m awful. I get these periodical bouts of laughter and I did that a lot on Gulliver’s Travels. And it’s happened consistently since then.
“I found it near impossible to get through a scene together because he’s so funny, I think it was fun for him to see how far he could go before I just broke down. And now, I think subconsciously, I do it too. I want to make whoever I’m working with laugh. It’s a fun little game I picked up,” she said.
However, despite posing difficult when shooting scenes, Emily revealed that having fun on set was important when working on Girl On The Train because the story is so dark and mysterious.
“And with a film like the Girl On The Train, you have to have fun during takes because the story is so dark,” she said.
We bet they had great craic on set together!
