TV3’s Elaine Crowley has revealed that she is having a midlife crisis as she approaches her 40th birthday.
The presenter has opened up again her fears of not getting married or having children but says that she has to learn to relax about it.
“I’m kind of having a freak out,” she told TV Now.
“‘Oh my God, I’m not married, I don’t know if I’ll have kids, I don’t know what’s going on. The way life expectancy is going I’ll be here until I’m 120,’ so I have to stop worrying, I’m a terrible worrier.
“I’m having a bit of a midlife crisis now. I don’t know what the hell I am at the moment.”

The Cork native recently said that she has a bucket list she’d like to complete before the big birthday.
“I’m trying to bucket list as much as I can. There’s loads of things I want to do. I’m trying to embrace it,” she told The Herald.
“It’s a scary number. It feels like yesterday I was 30 and I had a massive meltdown then.
“I want to get a tattoo and a piercing and I want to pose in the nip for a nice tasteful shoot.
“There’s all these things you should be when you’re a grown-up. Whatever about being a grown-up when you’re 30, you have to be one at 40.”
