eir VIP Publishing Power of Women Awards 2024: Nominees for the Beauty Industry award sponsored by Uniphar

VIP Publishing is delighted to announce that the eir Power of Women Awards are back.

These awards celebrate the best and brightest female entrepreneurs in Ireland, across the worlds of fashion, technology, beauty, lifestyle, wellness and more!

The winners, decided by an expert panel and awarded at an exclusive lunch in Dublin’s Marker Hotel on November 8th, will be profiled in VIP Magazine.

The Beauty Industry award sponsored by Uniphar celebrates the trailblazing women across the beauty market, from retail to services.

Here’s a bit more information about our inspiring nominees…

Linda Stintson – Bellamianta

Linda Stinston CEO of Bellamianta and Iconic Bronze launched her self-tanning brand Bellamianta in 2015. After seeing a gap in the market for clean and luxurious tanning products she strived to create a tan with skin-loving ingredients. The extremely successful business has collaborated with many famous figures including Love Island star Maura Higgins.

Kerry Hanaphy – Kerry Hanaphy Aesthetic Clinic

After traveling to London in the 1980s to train as a nurse, aesthetic nurse and owner of the Kerry Hanaphy Clinic realised her true passion was working in clinics. Now in 2024, Kerry has three aesthetic clinics in Ireland specialising in a range of treatments like dermal filler, anti-wrinkle injections and medical-grade chemical peels.

Liz Dwyer and Nikki Dwyer – Future of Beauty

Liz Dwyer is an award-winning journalist, entrepreneur and business owner whilst her sister Nikki is a corporate lawyer turned businesswoman. The pair have their own beauty podcast Fess Up and also founded The Future Beauty Show and Future Fertility Show.

The pair discuss all things beauty and aesthetics on their pod with a host of interesting guests. Their Future Beauty Show event, which will allow guests to learn about the latest treatments for wrinkles, hair loss and lots more from a range of professionals, will take place at the RDS on March 1st and 2nd.

Dr Emma Cunningham – Dr Emma Skincare

Dr. Emma qualified as a dental surgeon from Kings College in London. She went on to do postgraduate courses in cosmetics and implant dentistry. With a strong interest in a holistic approach to aesthetic medicine, this is an important component of her treatments at Dr Emma Clinic. She provides an extensive range of treatments at her clinic including dermal fillers, vampire facials and microneedling.

Vanessa Gomes – Essences Day Spa

Essence Day Spa specialises in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and MDL post-surgery treatments. The Essence Day Spa also practices the renowned Renata Franca Method and the Miracle Touch RF Method.

Agnes Gajewska – Home Face Yoga By Agnes

Agnes Gajewska is a beauty therapist with 20 years of experience and is constantly staying on top of cutting-edge beauty therapies, technology and techniques. Agnes specialises in face yoga, an activity that naturally contours and tightens the skin to help support it through natural ageing.

Anna Forde – Haumea

Skin professional Anna Forde is the creator of Haumea, an Irish brand creating luxury high-end skincare products. Forde has 18 years of experience in the industry and is also the creator of The Beauty Suite Skin and Laser Clinic.

Haumea was born in 2021 when many salons were closed due to the pandemic, Anna granted her clients wishes to create products where they could achieve salon quality results at home.

Noelle O’Connor – TanOrganic and Vegan Tan

Noelle O’Connor, a former beauty therapist, is the creator and CEO of the Kind Brand Company. Noelle appeared on Dragons Den back in 2010, and her business has gone from strength to strength ever since. The Kind Brand Company is an ethical and environmentally friendly self-tanning company behind the well-known TanOrganic and Vegan Tan ranges.
