The 25-year-old entrepreneur set up her business, The Smooth Company, in 2022. Aine has created a brand that started off with The Smooth Stick to now a range of products that include hairbrushes, a hair cream and even a detangling spray.

Aine wants customers to always have good hair days from products that have all hair-loving ingredients.

Katie Jane Goldin – LanaiBLO

Katie Jane Goldin is the owner of LanaiBLO, a high-performance hair dryer manufacturer and Hair Talk, a hair extension company that specialises in tape extensions and training courses.

She has created brands that are invested in hair care and helping customers to create styles that make them feel confident.

Claire Fullam – Remi

Claire Fullam is a trained trichologist who set up Remi, a company that has a full range of scalp treatments.

Claire wanted to create a brand with products that helped tackle issues clients had that started at the scalp, as she felt that was where the foundation of this issue lay. The products she created help empower and educate clients to help them gain real results.

Sinead Asple – Sea+Solu

Sinead Asple created Sea + Solu after struggling to find haircare that suited her wavy hair and decided to make a brand that combined science and innovation.

Sinead wants women to fall back in love with their hair and inspire them through the products she creates. What started as something to help her own needs has become a company that ensures all women reach their hair goals.

Nancy Costello – Belle Hairbrush

Nancy Costello created Belle Brush, a hairbrush brand that suits hair extensions and wigs and helps keep your own natural hair protected too.

Nancy released the original Belle Brush and the Baby Belle to help customers achieve their hair goals, whatever the hairstyle. Her range of brushes vows not to tug or damage hair.

Denise Walsh – Curly Co

For years, Denise neglected her own curls before deciding to embrace and care for them. With 25 years of hair experience behind her, Denise started Curly Co with the ambition to create products that nourish and enhance curls.

Her range of conditioning products suit all curly hair types and help the curly-haired community to embrace their natural hair and feel empowered.

Denise Phillips – Voduz

Co-founder of Voduz hair, Denise Phillips, is passionate about creating hair care for everyone.

With her professional background, Denise has helped create products that help create different styles while also protecting hair health.

Stephanie Nwambu – Callah Crowns

Stephanie Nwambu’s brand, Callah Crowns, creates hairstyles for all hair types.

Her experience in TV, commercial work and bridal styling led her to start this company that allows her to create hairstyles leaving her clients feeling inspired and celebrated.
