Recently, Ed Sheeran announced three Irish gigs for next year, and he’s now added a Croke Park date to his 2022 stadium tour too.
The singer’s first stop on the tour is Cork, where he’ll play Páirc Uí Chaoimh on April 28th 2022. He’ll then head to Limerick on May 5th, where he’ll play Thomond Park.
Finally, he’ll play in Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Fields on May 12th.
Initially, it wasn’t planned that he would play in Dublin – but that has now changed as The Mathematics Tour will kick off in the Dublin venue on April 23rd of next year.
It’s expected that the shows will be part of the greatest hits tour – if the name is anything to go by. Called ‘+-=÷x’ , now also known as ‘The Mathematics Tour’, it’s named after all of the albums he’s released so far since 2011.
So expect all of his hits including A Team, Thinking Out Loud, Shape Of You and Bad Habits.
Sharing the recent news on Instagram he wrote: “I’m going back on tour next year, the first leg is on sale Saturday 25th September. Check my website for on sale times & more info.”
Tickets go on sale on September 25th at 8am.
