Ed Sheeran has just added an extra two dates to the Irish leg of his stadium tour.

The singer had originally planned to play seven shows in Ireland next summer, but after tickets sold out within a day, he has now added even more to keep his fans happy.

This morning a third date was added for Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh which will see him perform on Sunday May 6, 2018, plus a third night for Dublin’s Phoenix Park on Saturday May 19, 2018.

Tickets for these gigs will go on sale Saturday morning at 9am, with prices ranging between €81- €91.

Fans are being urged to be aware of the rules regarding ticket sales, and to stay away from touts.
A statement released by the musician’s management read:  “Ed and his team have a strict stance against anyone using secondary ticketing websites for profit.

“On this tour, any tickets that are resold will not be valid – this means no profit to touts and no one getting ripped off.

“On all the stadium dates you will be required to bring your tickets, booking confirmation and credit card, plus a valid form of ID or you will not be granted entry to the show.”

They added: “Your ticket is not valid if resold unless it’s through our official face-value resale partner Twickets.”

This comes as tickets for his original seven shows have already appeared online for up to 12 times the original price.
