Eamonn Holmes has found a hilarious way to beat the loneliness while wife Ruth is away.
Since the news emerged that Ruth Langsford would be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, Eamonn has admitted that he’s worried about how he’ll cope.
Last month the TV presenter admitted he’d be a bit lost without his wife around the house.
“She is a domestic goddess and runs the whole house,” he said.
“She does everything and when she is not there, well it is going to be baked beans every night. It will probably be takeaways and they will go out into the bin before she gets home.”
He then joked: “I just go along with it. I am just a Strictly widower.”
But it seems Eamonn has found a very funny way of dealing with Ruth being so busy.
The Belfast man has resorted to using a card board cut out of his wife to keep him company.
“Another week for the Real Ruth on #strictly…. but this one eases the loneliness and I have my memories,” he said in the caption.
Since the initial pick above, Eamonn has been posting various snaps of him and cardboard Ruth.
Yesterday he posted a hilarious snap on the real Ruth with the cutout.
“Ruth doesn’t #Strictly look too happy on bumping into me and my friend. This mightn’t end well,” he joked.
He also posted pics of him being out and about with the cutout, and visiting the Strictly dance space.
Fans thought Eamonn’s solution was hilarious!
That’s one way of coping when you’re missing someone!
