Eamonn Holmes is getting into the Christmas spirit as he shares a snap of his himself along with his family at a festive party.
In the picture the 62-year-old can be seen beaming beside his eldest son, Declan, his daughter-in-law Jenny, and their baby daughter, Emelia.
Captioning the snap on his Instagram Eamonn said:
“Big Family Pre Christmas lunch today with my Grand daughter Emelia the Centre of attention.”
“We’re all feeling very festive stuffed to the Gills”
Unusual for Eamonn to post on his social media but fans weren’t complaining, Eamonn later also shared a picture of his granddaughter Emelia on her own. This will be the little one’s first Christmas, and it’s clear that Eamonn is excited to spend it with her, as he said:
“Sorry I’m becoming a baby bore now. But because of The Irish Sea her Grand Pappa doesn’t see her as much as he’d like to. Emelia, my best little Christmas present ever.”

Eamonn and wife Ruth will be spending this Christmas apart, as Eamonn remains in Belfast with family and Ruth stays at home in Surrey to spend time with her mam, Joan.
Sharing that it wasn’t an easy decision for the couple to come to, Eamonn explained to Woman and Home magazine.
“We have this issue now, in that we’ve got a sea dividing us. We often have a dilemma of whether I go to Belfast, whether Ruth comes with me,”
“But Ruth wants to be with her mum. My mother is 93 this year. It’s easier for us often to be apart.”
