Eamonn Holmes has joked about the Strictly curse coming to fruition after last night’s episode of the show.
The presenter’s wife Ruth Langsford is currently taking part in the show alongside dance partner Anton Du Beke.
The couple has often been asked about Strictly curse, which is the idea that many celebrity couples split up after one of them takes part in the show.
Stars such as Gemma Atkinson, Daisy Lowe and Louise Redknapp all split from their romantic partners after taking part in the show.
Ruth and Eamonn have both joked about the curse, but last night Eamonn quipped that it had come true.
Ruth suffered a nasty fall on this weekend’s episode of the show, which left her on top of her dance partner.
After the show Anton joked over on Twitter: “This wasn’t meant for the live stage… Normally we do this in rehearsal. Sorry Eamonn needs must!!!”
Eamonn replied joking: “The Curse of #Strictly before my very Eyes!”
On Instagram Eamonn made a similar joke alongside the picture saying:
“Don’t ask me what u r looking at here ….But did The Curse of #Strictly just strike before my very Eyes?”
It’s great to see that the pair are strong enough to joke about these things!
