Eamonn Holmes has responded to a Twitter troll who criticised his presenting skills on Good Morning Britain.
The 57-year-old is guest hosting the morning show in place of Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid this week, and came under fire by one disgruntled viewer.
“GMB is reduced to something awful when bargain bin presenter Eamonn Holmes takes over,” said the social media user. “Sub par presenting and by the book presenter.”
The Belfast man decided to call the troll out and addressed the criticism live on air.
“Massive compliment I’ve just got today on Twitter and social media, I have to share it with you.” he said before reading the tweet out to viewers.
Eamonn jokingly added “Indeed, keep them coming that’s made my day.”
We think Eamonn handled that very gracefully!
