Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have been confirmed as This Morning’s hosts for the remainder of the summer. Usual hosts, Holly and Phil are taking the rest of the summer season off and will back on our screens in September.
The announcement wasn’t made until the end of today’s show and there was much speculation as to who would be filling in for the pair. Davina McCall, Marvin Humes and Rylan Clark-Neal were all in the mix as they have also presented the show in the past.
However, it was Eamonn and Ruth who Philip announced as taking over at the of the show earlier today. The pair, who are married, already present on Friday mornings, so this slot will now be filled in by someone else, as they host Monday-Thursdays.
We couldn’t think of a better summer stand in than Eamonn and Ruth!
