Since landing on Christmas day, Netflix series Bridgerton has been the talk of the town. People are watching it now for a third or fourth time while they await the new season, and this time around, on closer inspection, they have spotted an error.
While the show is set in the 1800s, fans noticed a very modern-looking item in one particular scene. Eagle-eyed fans have taken to Twitter to point out some yellow road markings spotted in the background of some of the street scenes.
“Really enjoying Bridgerton, but with the technology available to film makers these days, a yellow line?” one person wrote.

Big yikes. But hey, maybe the Brits were really just ahead of their time when it came to road infrastructure?
But, unfortunately for the producers, the modern road errors don’t just stop there. Other fans have also reported spotting stop signs and manhole covers in some scenes too.
Other viewers have even mentioned spotted seedless grapes (which wouldn’t have been around back then) a Primark sign, and a modern doorbell too.
That’s nothing.
You will also spot a Primark poster, a single yellow line parking restriction and a parking sign on a lamppost. Down pipes on the front of buildings which would not have been there and a modern day doorbell.
Still a great one to watch though. #bridgerton

Okay, we need a re-watch this weekend because we didn’t pick up on ANY of that.
At least the cast and crew have a second chance at correcting those mistakes when they begin filming for the second season, no worries guys, all is forgiven!
