Last night’s episode of Love Island saw possibly the most dramatic recouping the show has ever aired.
During the ceremony, a number of new couples emerged, including Longford native Maura and her new love interest Marvin.
While we all rejoiced in the fact that Maura may have finally bagged herself a good man, the dumped Casa Amor boys have confessed their suspicions that Marvin could be using Maura.
When asked if he believes if anyone is playing a game, ex-islander Dan said: “Yes Marvin. He was doing whatever it takes.
“He doesn’t feel genuine towards Maura. I think it depends on how it pans out whether she’ll realise that.”
Stevie also reckons Marvin is pretending to like Maura as a gameplan to remain in the villa.
“I think Marvin changed strategy half way through. I didn’t think he liked Maura. I think he realised this was a way for him to get in,” he said.
Maura had previously been torn between choosing to couple up with Marvin or Dennon.
Having shared a kiss with both boys, she decided to go with her gut instinct and chose Marvin, believing that the two may have a future together.
Dennon, however, doubts their future, claiming that Marvin may act differently with Maura on the outside world.
“I’m not sure he would be with her on the outside,” he says.
Do you think Marvin is genuinely into Maura, or is he playing a game?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
