Podcast fans, rejoice — Doireann Garrihy has just teased the return of her hit show Doireann and Friends.
Now entering its third season, Doireann and Friends features Doireann sitting down with friends and family for light-hearted yet meaningful chats.
So yes, you can expect plenty of honest conversations and even some input from listeners.
Taking to Instagram this morning, Doireann shared a photo from the recording studio with the caption: “Doireann and Friends is coming.”
Launched two years ago, this marks Doireann’s second podcast, alongside The Laughs of Your Life.
Judging by previous seasons, Doireann typically drops the first episode sometime in June, so hopefully, fans won’t have long to wait!
Past guests have included the likes of Alison Keating, Samantha Barry, Brian Dowling, Katja Mia, and Charleen Murphy, to name just a few.
As for who’ll join her this season, your guess is as good as ours, but we can’t wait to see who she has lined up!
Doireann certainly has her plate full at the moment as not only is she expecting her first child with husband Mark Meighan, but she’s also busy hosting her new radio show, 2FM Drive.
After stepping away from 2FM’s Breakfast Show last year, Doireann admitted it felt a bit surreal to return, saying: “I was nervous but excited. I felt like a newbie, but also like part of the furniture because I know so many of the team.
“I like that it feels so familiar but also such a new challenge.”
