After weeks of speculation surrounding her love-life, Doireann Garrihy has confirmed she’s in a relationship, and things are going well.
Rumours first began in December when Doireann teased followers about a new ‘bae’, but the 2FM presenter has now revealed she is, in fact, dating someone – and they’re very happy together.
Speaking to Brian Dowling on her podcast, the 27-year-old told him she does have a boyfriend, and when Brian said it’s important that she enjoys herself, she simply replied, “I am.”
Doireann went on to joke about her romantic history, sharing a story of how her dad didn’t think she’d find ‘the one’.
“My sisters very much have it together in terms of like marriage…that track,” she said.
“It’s a running joke [in the family]. So there’s three of us and they’re both married but on my second sister’s wedding day there in October, on the wedding day my dad was like, ‘Ah it’s very sad’.
“And I was like, ‘What?’ and he was like, ‘Ah, we’ll probably never do this again.’ It was a joke.”
Doireann and Paddy went public with their romance this week, as they attended an Emirates event in Dublin.
She wore a stunning black print maxi dress from Topshop, while Paddy donned a simple black shirt and blue jeans.
