Coldplay guitarist Johnny Buckland was hit by a water bottle that was thrown on stage from the crowd last night.
The band were in Croke Park to play to the huge Irish crowd, on a night that went amazingly well. But there appeared to be one point in the night that wasn’t so savoury.
A water bottle was thrown on stage from the front of the crowd, hitting Johnny Buckland in the head. Lead singer Chris Martin addressed the incident after it happened.
“I’m sure you just got over excited about Game of Thrones and that’s why you threw it.” Chris said, referring to the fact that Johnny once appeared in an episode of Game of Thrones.
” I mean it probably cost you 150 euros for that water.
“Johnny, do you want to stop the show? No? Right lets go.”
We’re glad Johnny took the whole thing nicely!
